We were in town visiting family, so the spot was spot on. The room/suite had a comfy sofa and a fantastic bathroom with a jetted bath and a walk‑in shower. The breakfast room staff were lovely and friendly. All was lovely.

The pub was superb, the food great, and the staff incredibly friendly; I couldn’t have asked for more. I’d give a 100% recommendation and was impressed by everyone’s attention to detail.

The place was beautiful everywhere and full of character. Rooms were spacious and the outdoor area was lovely too. The cutlery could use an update and a reading light next to the armchair would be helpful.

The location was lovely, set in a gorgeous historic village. The room was very comfortable and had everything we needed, and the hotel offered tea, coffee, and extra pillows if required. The only downsides for us older couple were that our room was on the outside and accessed by a metal staircase, which was a bit concerning when it was wet and not ideal for carrying suitcases in the rain. Another issue was stepping in and out of a steep bath.

The room spanned two levels and featured a jacuzzi on the second floor, making it very spacious. No negatives.
