The house was cozy and well‑furnished, offering tranquility and an unobstructed view of the forest. It was far from the town center, had a steep and difficult parking situation, and lacked basic appliances (toaster, coffee machine, kettle) and essentials (olive oil, shower gel…) especially because the accommodation is isolated. There were no blinds on the windows, which forced me to wake up early. Passing through one of the rooms to reach the bathroom made it feel less private for couples.

The location is unbeatable for resting or retreating next to this traditional cottage, but with all the comforts it makes a stay unforgettable. The owner was attentive at all times; you couldn’t ask for more.

Heating in the bedrooms and an extra gas heater kept the place warm even on cool days, it was well equipped, nicely located with a great view, and the relaxing pond with fish was a highlight. The steep dead‑end access, including the turn‑around point, was a downside.

The house’s facilities and details in the kitchen and rooms were very complete, and the views were lovely. The terraces and plants were well cared for. The access was not very easy because the ramp is narrow and steep, and there are no nearby trails.

All!!! It has character and charm. Very traditional, with many original elements (like living in a museum). You literally bonded with the house from the first moment, with everything you need in place. The host was great, helpful, and hospitable. The whole family was happy, and it was an amazing stay over the Christmas holidays. Definitely a place to return! No negatives, just a personal suggestion: first‑time visitors off the island might struggle…
