The décor was baroque, like from another era, with all the comforts, a nice bathroom, and large, pleasant rooms that offered coffee and tea and were very close to everything – we recommend it without hesitation! The only issue was the lack of window screens, as there are many mosquitoes from the river.

“Florencia!!!”

It’s a pretty, comfortable, spacious place that’s well maintained. The manager kept emailing us suggestions the whole time. There’s an elevator. A little shop sits right in front of the building. Walking to Santa María Novella train station takes under 15 minutes, and a tram stop is 6 or 7 minutes away. Great for multi‑day stays.

The accommodation itself was fine. However, there were a lot of mosquitoes and the bathroom window opened on its own. On the day we were leaving, we had the time listed in the booking, but two hours before that, they came to wake us up and tell us we had to leave in a very bad way. We showed them the time in the reservation and they said they had to prepare the room already and that we should hurry.

The space and kitchen access were good. The kitchen lacked napkins or paper, and there was no TV.

The arrival was very pleasant and the instructions on how to get into the room were clear. The room was clean with well‑kept furnishings. The location is great, and it’s possible to walk to the old town. The online check‑in was a bit hard to understand; it could be explained more clearly, especially how to do it and why it’s needed. The bathroom wasn’t acoustically insulated, so you can hear each other on the toilet, which can be uncomfortable.
