The staff were very helpful, but it's actually a long way from the pandas and there are no hot springs there, despite the hotel’s name suggesting otherwise.

We loved everything. The courtyard hot spring was an oasis of tranquility and calm, which we needed after a few days in Chengdu. It surpassed our expectations. The lovely lady at reception did her best to translate everything into English—she was an absolute gem of professional help. The room was incredible, spotless, and offered the very best luxury in bedding and furniture. We were provided with a fantastic breakfast, and the lovely afternoon tea and snacks. We enjoyed the food in the restaurant, were very hungry, and the receptionist helped us order a few dishes—all of which were delightful. The private spa was also fantastic; it was exactly what we needed to rest and reset after the busyness of Chengdu. This place is incredible. Thanks so much for your genuine care and attention. We will return. The location is a little out of the way, so it’s absolutely perfect for just stopping and getting some rest. Wi‑Fi was also fantastic. Nothing—this place is perfection.

I travel a lot, and over the past few months I have stayed in many different hotels, so it is no longer easy to impress me simply with a beautiful room, stylish interiors, or good service. But Chengdu Xiaoya Yard Hot Spring Hotel became a truly special place for me. And it wasn't only because the hotel itself is wonderful. It is a beautiful and peaceful place with a traditional Chinese atmosphere — the courtyard, the garden, the stones and water, and the warm glow of the lights in the evening. Everything here makes you want to slow down. After a long and busy day, you don't feel as if you are simply returning to a hotel room to sleep. You feel as if you are coming back to a place where you can genuinely rest. But the most valuable part of this hotel is its team. I travel alone, I am very far from home, and I don't speak Chinese. When you travel this way, you quickly learn the difference between professional hospitality and genuine human kindness. Here, I experienced the second. From the very beginning, every member of the staff was incredibly attentive, patient, kind, and welcoming. The smiles at reception, the willingness to help, the attention to small details, and so many thoughtful gestures that I didn't even have to ask for — all of these things made an enormous difference. At no point did I feel that someone was simply "doing their job." Instead, I had the rare feeling that the people here genuinely cared whether I was comfortable, safe, and happy. When you have been travelling alone through another country for a long time, this means much more than people might imagine. You may eventually forget the exact size of your room. Months later, you may not remember every piece of furniture or exactly how many minutes it took to reach a particular attraction. But you remember the people who made you stop feeling like a stranger in an unfamiliar country. That is exactly what happened to me here

This is an amazing hotel in traditional Chinese style with hot springs and incredibly tasty local cuisine. The hotel grounds are small but beautiful and well‑maintained, with lovely photo spots. The room is excellent, with all the little comforts for a comfortable stay (soap, slippers, robes). We slept soundly and woke up to the sound of birds. I especially want to highlight the hotel staff—unbelievably friendly and responsive, ready to help with anything. The location is great, just a 10‑15 minute taxi ride, and there’s a small town nearby with everything (park, shopping, entertainment). By the way, taxis in China are not expensive. This is the best hotel of all three weeks we spent in China, a place we didn’t want to leave. Huge thanks for the hospitality and prosperity of your hotel!

A piece of tranquility and traditional atmosphere you can find here. Really enjoyed. Reception team was very helpful for all arrangements including transfer for sightseeing. Welcome tea and fruits were great after the flight. Food is well done
