The lodge looks gorgeous and cozy, especially outside with its bungalows, hammocks, and plenty of trees. Breakfast was tasty, and every staff member was polite, especially the girls. The place feels like a beach house or cabin where you can feel at home and even use the kitchen with a fridge and water filter. We had to leave very early because of the transfer, but we could still have breakfast. The lodge also offers a hair dryer and air conditioning. The room was spacious. Everything seemed new and well maintained, and the location feels very safe. Even though it’s far from the city center, Davi runs a shuttle to pick up and drop off guests. We arrived from a tour and the water pump was off, which delayed our night tour exit, but it worked out. The room wasn’t cleaned for a day, probably because we had the keys. Wi‑Fi fluctuates in some areas, but there are several connections to switch between. I’d suggest a drying rack outside instead of inside the bathroom.

The lodge is simple but cozy and meets expectations. It’s on the other side of the river from the city center and a bit farther away.

I didn’t like anything about it—one of the worst cost‑benefit hotels I’ve stayed at this year in 2026. The service, location, food, and room were all subpar; the building used low‑quality materials, the bed was traditional, and the breakfast looked like a gas station. The location was terrible, far from the city center and dining spots, yet the nightly rate was very high. It’s the worst stay I’ve had in recent years.
