A roomy room and a pleasant roof terrace, plus a small shallow pool just for a quick dip. Parking was a hassle: it’s metered and only lets you buy 2‑hour blocks. I wasted a lot of time downloading an app that doesn’t help navigate, and I forgot to renew the parking at 9 am the next day, so I was an hour late, got fined €36, couldn’t pay right away, and now I’m waiting for the bill to arrive by post.

The roof terrace with the mini pool was great, and there was nothing I didn’t like.

The room was spacious and comfortable, but I felt the price was a bit high, perhaps because of the season.

The room was large and lovely, the bathroom very functional, and the windows kept street noise out. Breakfast was served to us with a full selection and was very good. However, the reception area was tiny and there was no lounge or sitting space; the bar‑café was crowded with street customers, and you had to weave past tables to reach the elevator. The rooftop pool turned out to be a Jacuzzi—not a real pool—so I think it loses a star.
