Everything has character and charm, it feels like stepping into another era. It’s ideally located for a day in Canterbury, even walkable via a riverside path. Breakfast is great, you can order anything and it’s freshly prepared. You can also have lunch and dinner, typical English menu. Friendly and attentive staff. Nice bed and very good thick towels. Parking and Wi‑Fi are free. The bathroom really needs an update; the shower temperature was barely adjustable.

Location is perfect. The building has age and character. There seemed to be no designated bar staff.

We loved the room with a canopy bed – fantastic bed, nicely furnished, very cozy. We'll definitely return. Compared to other accommodations in this price range it's top of the bill! Breakfast was also excellent. Nothing to criticize or improve, everything was super.

The décor was cozy, the house was very quiet, the food tasty, the breakfast buffet extensive, the outdoor areas lovely, staff extremely friendly.
