Breakfast was generous for French standards, where breakfast usually has a lower status. The hotel’s position is ideal, with many sights within walking distance; we only used the metro three times in four days! The lift could be a bit bigger, but that’s hard to change in this historic building.

The hotel is well preserved and sits in a fantastic location. The staff are very kind and helpful. Room cleaning is outstanding—“second to none” for a long time. Breakfast is average but acceptable. We’ll return (I wish they had AC).

The windows were dirty, and the blinds were not very clean.

The staff were friendly, and the location is convenient for walking. Breakfast in the morning was good, and the room was quite large. However, there was no AC—just a few fans—and it was hot and humid at the end of September. Bottled water wasn’t refilled after the first day, and garbage and recyclables weren’t taken from the room daily.
