“Bella struttura, con un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo ma con servizi migliorabili.”
The property is very beautiful, recently renovated with great architectural care both externally and internally. The room is small but tastefully furnished. Excellent value for money. The staff are friendly and helpful. The reception is rarely manned; you have to ring the external bell and wait for someone to come to the desk, probably because the same owners run a restaurant and a campsite on the premises and need to keep costs down, so the staff are involved in various activities around the property. The hotel entrance along a well‑kept avenue with stone paving and fine plants contrasts with the fact that a few meters away, in the area originally meant for hotel guest parking, a camper stop was set up with a box that houses the sanitary facilities (we had to park elsewhere, with limited inconvenience). The staff are very young (maybe too young) and, while always available and courteous, they seem somewhat inexperienced and at times not fully prepared to manage guests optimally. The room had three windows, plus the bathroom one, so potentially ideal for light and ventilation, yet all three windows had blinds closed and, because of a fixed mosquito net, they could not be opened. The room has a kettle for tea and coffee, a great service, but it would be even better if instead of paper cups and wooden spoons there were two ceramic mugs and two metal teaspoons. Breakfast is of average quality, only hard eggs are offered, and in a part of Italy rich in cheeses, only mediocre sliced cheese is provided. Still, considering the cost of breakfast, the offering is satisfactory.
