A quiet area, a beautiful garden setting, two well‑maintained pools with food and drink service. The staff were the most lovely. The rooms were comfortable. We loved this hotel so much and will definitely return if ever in Bali again. Nothing else to mention.

I had high expectations from the photos and other reviews, but the hotel didn't quite match them, perhaps because we had stayed at other amazing places on the trip that were hard to beat. The garden setting was nice and the price was reasonable, and I liked the massage at the spa. My family loves swimming and hanging out by the pool, so it was disappointing that the pool bar wasn’t really open; the guy at the pool just stared at his phone and called up to the restaurant for drinks. The vibe was flat, and sometimes the burn-offs at the river produced unpleasant smoke. Our room was huge, big enough for two double beds, yet we were given two separate rooms for a family of four. The restaurant was mediocre—our food was lukewarm when it arrived.

The place was gorgeous—tropical, relaxed, and well kept with beautiful Balinese architecture and fittings in a fabulous setting. The staff were efficient, helpful, and friendly. The pool area was stunning, and breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The location was excellent: far enough from town for peace and quiet, yet with a convenient shortcut walk or free shuttle bus service. The restaurant food was very good (but not excellent). There wasn’t much to dislike!
