Swissotel Uludag Bursa

The hotel is located in an incredibly beautiful setting that already creates a special atmosphere; the room was very spacious and comfortable, and the staff were attentive, friendly, and professional, leaving a very pleasant overall impression. The only disappointment was the spa situation: we chose the hotel specifically for its mountain location, nature, and spa access, but on the day of our arrival a heavy fog in the mountains caused the spa to close around four o’clock, which felt odd given that the spa has indoor pools and other options for inclement weather. In such weather, when outdoor enjoyment is limited, a spa visit becomes especially important. Other than that, the hotel was great: excellent location, comfort, spacious room, and wonderful staff. We just hope management will reconsider the spa closure policy during bad weather, as it may be a key factor for guests choosing this hotel.

The location and staff were great, and the hotel felt luxurious, but most of the spa facilities were out of order—probably because we were off‑season.

“Solid hotel”

In September, the room was a bit hot because there was no AC, but it was tolerable; everything else was great—from the spa and pool to dinner and breakfast. The staff were well trained, and the hotel was run professionally, so we’d return.

The place and location were amazing and we really enjoyed our family time, yet groups of young men and women from schools and universities were hosting activities in the hotel, which caused a lot of noise and disturbance since they weren't in a separate area; most staff only spoke Turkish, so we couldn't join their strawberry activity, the singing party, or other events. There were guests with dogs in the non‑guest area, and the dogs kept us bothered all day and night because they stayed in the room next to ours. When we complained at reception, they said there was a dedicated area for them, but due to overcrowding they let the dog‑owners stay in the wrong spot. Cleanliness was below expectations: the housekeeper would change the trash bin, sheets, and add water, but the bathroom wasn’t fully cleaned, leaving an unpleasant odor after a long stay.
