“nice, 3 star, but no more than that”
The spot is great, but the Cefalù Sea Palace feels far from a five‑star experience; no doorman, no luggage help, no valet. Standard rooms have tiny beds, cheap linens, and rough towels, while the suite, though nicer, still lacks basic perks like complimentary bottled water, a coffee machine, hair conditioner, and bathrobes unless asked for. Even a kettle, extra blankets, and pillows must be specifically requested. Breakfast is dull, with salt and pepper in tiny paper sachets, and staff give patronizing tips about what to leave in the fridge or take from the breakfast area. The Wi‑Fi was so bad we had to switch rooms for a decent connection. The hotel’s relentless cost‑cutting shows in every detail, prioritizing savings over comfort. The location and the suite are pleasant, but nothing here justifies the luxury label or the high price.
