The staff are outstanding—friendly, efficient, and solution‑oriented—but the hotel itself feels dated and in need of renovation; some rooms give off a stale, damp odor that makes them uncomfortable, many lack private bathrooms, and the showers are only in the onsens, which are closed for several hours a day, so you can’t shower.
