“Un vrai poème en effet”
Nothing. The oak poem… a whole poem indeed! Located at a street corner downhill behind a shabby fence in a swamp‑like humidity, you are greeted in late September by a swarm of very affectionate mosquitoes that do not fail to attend to you (this explains why a small anti‑mosquito spray is placed on a shelf in the accommodation). Once the door opens you find yourself in a more than cramped space (a mobile home would be more spacious). The owner seems to have bet on a boho eco décor to mask the poor quality of the place. The accommodation is as humid inside as it is outside and an electric ventilation must be kept running to keep the air somewhat healthy. A small table on the right accessible from only two sides limits usage possibilities. The average quality bed, although (positive point) clean, is at least wedged between two partitions. To the left about 20 cm, so to pass you need to be agile; to the right you have to push the curtain separating the WC shower corner to reach it! What comfort! Add to that the instruction to travelers to not forget to put a "cover" on the shower drain after use and you quickly understand where the charming sewer/ septic smell comes from, tickling the travelers’ noses. In short, if you like caravan life (space), have a pronounced taste for humid atmospheres, affection for mosquitoes, and love “sewer” fragrances you are in the right place. Regarding breakfast, for 10 € per person, don’t be afraid to go hungry. If you opt for coffee, rest assured it won’t annoy you.
