“Overpriced attitude”

The room had a balcony and a good bathroom, but the 46 USD mandatory resort fee felt like an extra forced spend on top of an already pricey stay, and the 52 USD mandatory valet parking was also shocking. The staff just stood around while my wife loaded the truck at checkout, offering no service at all. The gym was tiny and under‑equipped for a hotel of this size. The so‑called coffee shop in the lobby was a disaster in terms of wait times, efficiency, and attitude. Two days and 825 USD is insane. There was no breakfast. Never again, thank you.

“Consigliato!”

I’m pretty happy with the stay overall. I liked the spot in Marina del Rey, a nice area to return to after spending days in Los Angeles, and it served as a solid base for my trip; I’d gladly come back. The only downside was that getting around different parts of Los Angeles requires a lot of travel, and traffic can stretch travel times considerably, something to plan for but it didn’t spoil my overall experience.

The room on the third floor with a view of the marina was fine, and the view was sensational!

Everything except the parking. Parking costs $52 a night for valet or self‑park.
