“Trop cher pour si peu de confort”

The rooms felt a bit old‑fashioned and the bedding was terribly uncomfortable—maybe the mattress is less than 12 cm thick—and the worst part was the poor insulation; we could almost hear other guests’ conversations. On the bright side, the breakfast was generous, though it lacked any savory options. Even for a single night it was pricey, especially when you can’t get a good night’s sleep.

“Nous avons passé un très beau moment en famille”

What struck me was the original charm of the place and its décor, a cozy little hotel that chose to preserve its old‑world character instead of modernising. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the food reflected the hotel’s simple, original style using good regional ingredients. The room itself was comfortable, but it didn’t capture the bohemian spirit of the venue.

Dinner in the restaurant was delicious, and several staff members assisted with taking orders—our French isn’t great. We were able to leave our bicycles in the garden.
