We appreciated the historic building with its staircase and the photos. The room featured a very high ceiling and plenty of hot water. The spot was almost perfect for tourists.

Central location, everything within walking distance. The TV didn’t work, the shower head leaked, and the bathroom light was out.

“Rossz panzió!”

Central location – restaurants and cafés nearby. The “staff” consisted of just one employee, the cleaner who did everything, so she deserves praise. There was no receptionist; the cleaner had to pay the room rent. No night guard or security staff – anyone could walk from the street straight to the room door. The room smelled and was dusty; the wallpaper fell off the wet wall. There were moths in the room and hallway, and mosquitoes in the room too. The air conditioner worked but was very noisy at night. The shower pipe leaked everywhere; the tap was rusty. The toilet tank filled continuously and hissed (I fixed it because the hotel staff were absent). The toilet seat moved. This isn’t a 4‑star hotel, it’s more like a 2‑star inn! There are 8 rooms with no reception staff. Check‑in was done over the phone upon arrival. It wasn’t the hotel’s fault, but until 2 a.m. we couldn’t sleep because drunken guests at the reception were shouting, laughing, and drinking. With staff present, they could have handled it. I don’t recommend this inn.
