The courtesy and availability of Mrs. Susi made us feel like family, chatting with us as if we had known her forever; the breakfast was abundant, and the house was very characteristic and welcoming. We had trouble finding a parking spot on one of the evenings, and there was some noise at night, which we managed with earplugs.

The location was good and the coffee was good. For breakfast there was toast bread even though the baker was across the street; the steep staircase to the room could only be climbed with the handrail; old carpets posed a fall risk; there were barriers everywhere because of the dogs; there was no quiet at night; we couldn’t sit outside in the evening because the small courtyard was crowded and untidy; the staff spoke only Italian and didn’t even know where the village bus stop was; the tourist office was closed; there were no restaurants for dinner.

The structure was very unique and welcoming, and the staff were characteristic.

Staying at Susi’s felt like being home; Mrs. Susi was extremely available and welcoming, and I spent one night with my daughters; knowing there were little ones, she even prepared the beds with pink sheets and little flowers. We chatted, had breakfast together in the morning, and while I was finishing, my youngest daughter held her hand and told her the story of Little Red Riding Hood. The location was excellent and close to the area’s attractions. Highly recommended!
