Promenaden Hotel

“Great place to have a quiet and restful night!”

Finding the hotel was a breeze, just 2 minutes from the theatre; the property was clean, quiet, warm, and freshly renovated. I stayed there for only one night while traveling to several destinations, yet it stood out in the area.

“Дуже не задоволений”

I didn't like the location at all. The parking was full, and the hotel restaurant asked me to move my car from the parking spot, even though I was dining there as a customer and pointed out that the spot was marked with a prohibited sign; I had the staff’s permission. Because the promised services were not provided, I received a fine and no compensation from the venue.

The central spot and good public‑transport links were great, but I stayed on the top floor where the windows were too high for me to look out; I could open them but not see outside. The operator says a lift is planned, which would help people with mobility issues who otherwise struggle up the stairs.

The value for money was very good, the spot right by the main station was perfect, and late check‑in was hassle‑free; the room was small but had a private bathroom next door. The beds were a bit uncomfortable.

“Gut aber”

The old building was beautifully renovated with modern rooms and a superb bathroom area in a prime location, yet that charm is lost with the modern check‑in system. Some guests might praise it, but I would have preferred a more personal touch. Check‑in was promised at 14:00, yet the kiosk only opens at 15:00, giving guests an hour without a friendly receptionist who was supposed to be there. Deciding whether to have breakfast based on a photo feels too impersonal. It may be the future of modern hotels, but I regret that this concept is enforced so strictly in such a lovely building.
