“Disappointing”
The view was great and the bed was comfortable. The staff were friendly and the bistro food was amazing again. But the fact that our unit had just been painted was unpleasant, with a terrible paint smell. We arrived to find rubbish everywhere on the driveways because the bins hadn’t been picked up, and there were paintings and pictures on the floor. Mold was present on the shower ceiling, and bugs and cobwebs were everywhere. The fridge was stuck on the carpet, making it hard to open. There was no in‑room safe and no coffee machine even though pods were supplied. I was paying $355 a night for the view and I definitely won’t do that again. I was really disappointed, especially since this hotel chain usually delivers near‑perfection.
