“Mejorable”
Our stay at this rural house didn’t meet expectations. We found several cleaning, maintenance, and communication issues worth noting. The house was poorly cleaned: there were cobwebs, dust, and the kitchen oven was filthy with a pool of oil at the bottom. There were also many rats outside, and we found rat droppings in the areas where we ate, which was especially unpleasant and concerning. In terms of maintenance, the outdoor bathroom was clogged—both the shower and the toilet. When using the toilet, water and waste leaked into the shower, rendering that bathroom basically unusable. We were also surprised to see two people outside cleaning the pool right after we woke up, without any prior notice that they would enter the area. Communication with the owner was poor; we sent three messages to resolve questions and only one was answered. We also asked if there was paella pan and charcoal and received no reply. Finally, for nine people staying four days, the house provided only one roll of toilet paper per bathroom (four rolls total), which was clearly insufficient. The house has potential, but cleaning, maintenance, customer service, and guest communication need major improvement.
