A typical English pub vibe, with very friendly staff. The room was cozy and the bathroom was clean. Breakfast was already ready the next morning when we arrived at 16:00; that might be a downside for people who value breakfast.

“Really enjoyed our stay. Excellent room and great value for money”

The location is great, the pub food is good, and it’s quiet after closing. The bed is very comfortable, and the bedroom and bathroom are clean. There’s no dedicated overnight parking, so it’s first‑come, first‑serve.

“Great location outside the City centre with a a few pubs and restaurants with a train to Nottingham.”

The rooms sit perfectly for a trip to Bingham, and the complimentary breakfast—though limited to cereals and pastries—adds a nice touch. The restaurant and pub below serve excellent food. If you have limited mobility, the many stairs, including a metal staircase outside the building, might pose a challenge. My wife, who has a bad back, found the beds a bit firm and struggled to get comfortable.

The room was really comfortable, quiet, and the bed gave a great night’s sleep. The shower was powerful, the décor clean and modern, and the pub and restaurant on the faculty floor are great. The continental breakfast was somewhat basic but pleasant, and there’s a Weatherspoons nearby if you want a full English breakfast. The steps to reach the room aren’t suitable for people with mobility issues, and the room above the bar can be noisy if you need an early night, but we were fine.
