The location, village, comfort, restaurant, and simple reception were all great. No complaints.

“Eine grosse Enttäuschung, schade”

After having been very satisfied about seven years ago at Hotel de la Commune, we chose this one for a four‑day stay. The small, charming hotel has been renovated, the rooms are beautifully designed with plenty of wood and a modern bathroom, and the beds are very comfortable. Unfortunately, the wardrobe is very small and the nightstands are just a wooden block with no storage or drawer, so there are missing storage options in the room. Also, the really nice modern skylights are only reachable by people up to 2 m tall. There is no rod to open and close the windows. Parking is insufficient, the breakfast is extremely minimalist, and there is no room cleaning—unacceptable for these high prices! There was hardly ever a responsible person present (the reception emergency phone number was not answered), and even on the day we checked out a day earlier than booked (and paid for that day) there was no responsible person in the house.

“Sympa et efficasse”

The staff were very friendly, the breakfast was truly excellent and the dinner was just as good. Nothing to complain about. We chose a room at the back of the building, which is where ours was located. There was even a bike storage area. A charming place.

I was greeted with a quick check‑in, but the room felt cramped and the ventilation motor kept humming all night, not the bathroom fan. Breakfast was ordinary, and the key was handed over to the housekeeper instead of a staff member. The service felt impersonal and cold, and the price didn’t match the quality, which is why I’d rather stay in a BNB than a Swiss hotel.

The room is small but very nice. The modern bathroom with a rain shower is fine, but the cabin is very small. The breakfast is freshly prepared, and the cappuccino is great. For the price I expected more; the room is very small, and there is barely half a meter of space on either side of the bed. There was not even a fridge. The location is in the middle of the village, but there isn’t much there. Additionally, of the three restaurants, the kitchen in my hotel was closed, and the other two are upscale with corresponding prices.
