The pool, bars, and restaurants are all brand new and impressive, and the whole hotel has a tasteful décor; it sits right next to hiking trails, a gondola, and the beach. However, the room with a lake view actually looked more like a parking lot with only a sliver of lake, and the extra fees added up on top of the room rate.

The rooftop pool was fantastic, especially after the recent remodel, and the hotel’s proximity to the outdoor concert venue was spot‑on; the blackout curtains worked well. On the downside, the plastic “fake wood” flooring felt awful and made the room sound hollow, like a cheap Motel 6; room 946’s bathroom was tiny—probably the size of a shoebox—so I couldn’t reach the toilet without closing the door; the pillows were stiff foam noodles, and the only affordable Mexican‑style restaurant inside Caesars was closed from Monday to Wednesday, which was odd.

The location was convenient, but we booked two rooms with a connecting door that didn’t lock properly and was hard to close; my shower didn’t drain, and despite calling the front desk twice, no one answered; to top it off, bar music kept playing until at least 2 am, and the thin walls and windows let the noise in so I couldn’t sleep until after 2 am on both nights.
