The place is old and everything smells—furniture, carpet, everything is old, smelly, mouldy, nasty. The room is a good size, spacious for two, but the bathroom is open, so there is no main door to the bathroom and toilet, which is a strange and weird design. The bathroom area also had a mirror on the opposite wall, so the person in the room can see you while you brush, change, or use the basin area. The toilet and shower sections do have respective doors, but the toilet had a weird stench that travelled through the room and was really bothersome. The air conditioning was old and not cleaned in a while because it really had a mouldy/weird smell. Thankfully we only had to spend a few hours in the room. The carpet in the hallway to the room was so nasty that I recommend not looking down. The room felt extremely used, old, and it was just not nice being in there. Everything. Nothing worked for me. The property needs a serious renovation. Upon check‑in, I was made to wait 20 minutes in the lobby while one person was available at the reception attending to another customer who was also checking in, and the rest of the staff just hung around there, refusing to check me in, which I found very weird. I couldn’t understand why no one would attend to me. I just needed to grab a key as my friend had already finished the check‑in formalities, as she had arrived earlier than me. Terrible experience in every way. Will not be ever returning.
