The facilities feel very rustic and in harmony with the surroundings, and the vision and mission are very supportive. The staff are friendly and show genuine concern for guests and their experience. There's not much to improve, but more public support could help them fix any issues that arise.

Nature is a big draw, and the cabins are spacious. The staff provide little information and the attention is minimal.

We loved the concept of this place. I can't imagine a better spot to stay in Escárcega, surrounded by nature and with fantastic hosts. Breakfast was delicious and Adela gifted us honey from her bees. I would give it more than 10; this place exceeded our expectations. You'll love it if you value nature contact and a long, pleasant rest. We saw baby deer being cared for, a porcupine that comes to sleep each night, a pair of hawks, iguanas, and their little dogs Manchas and Aika. Support Casados Ranch and stay with them!

The place feels genuinely rustic, and Adela was incredibly sweet, even setting up vegetarian dishes for us without us having asked. It’s a campsite with simple wooden huts that are surprisingly clean. Just be aware that animals roam around and make noise at night, and the tin roofs don’t block sound well.
