The hotel’s position offers a stunning panoramic view of the lake, which is a huge plus, but the breakfast and dinner were only “okay” by South Tyrolean standards. The hosts are genuinely friendly and helpful with tour tips, yet the service staff are quite particular if you’re not a regular. The breakfast buffet service felt “acclimatization‑required,” especially for non‑regulars: lake‑view tables were, even after explicit requests, no longer redecorated about an hour before the end of breakfast time unless for regular guests, which we found especially rude! Our room overlooking the vineyard was very dark and unfortunately located directly above the bar and kitchen, causing noise and smells—what a pity! We’d advise choosing a room with a lake view instead.
