The large communal bath was a pleasant surprise because I was able to use it alone; the accommodation was cheap yet included breakfast with both Japanese and Western options, which was great; however, at check‑in the air‑conditioner was off and it was very hot, and even after turning it on it didn’t cool well, with the AC making a noise at night that kept me from sleeping, and the nightwear felt old and unappealing.
