After years of hoping to stay at Hotel Smeraldo, we finally did, and the room offered breathtaking sea and Positano views; we ate several meals at the restaurant, which were the highlight of the trip, and the staff—Georgio, Sanju, Pasqualino, and his lovely family—made the stay unforgettable. The staff were very helpful, friendly, and clean, and Rafello responded instantly to any questions or requests. The view was amazing. Getting around to activities was tough, taxis were scarce, and the buses were overcrowded. Breakfast was tasty, but for a longer stay it would have been nice to have more variety in eggs and meats; lunch and dinner repeated the same menu. There was a big pizza oven that we never used, and a lighter lunch option like pizza or panini would have been welcome.

The view was great, and the hotel terrace was lovely. I would have preferred a more polished room for the price paid. The aperitif was good but overpriced.

We saw one of the best views ever—a stunning terrace overlooking the ocean. The staff were very attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to keep us comfortable, and the food and drinks were great. It’s in a fantastic area, just a short bus ride from Positano and the business district. Huge thanks to Giorgio and the whole family team ❤️❤️❤️❤️. Nothing to complain about.
