The host’s hospitality was great, and the location was very peaceful and lovely.

The host was a very nice woman and we got along well, chatting for a while. She suggested a hiking trail that turned out to be wonderful, with a stunning setting. We were the only guests, so the upper floor was all ours, giving a very quiet atmosphere and parking right outside the door. The place was very clean and social, the breakfast excellent, and the coffee delicious. There was nothing to complain about.

The B&B is close to all the highlights of the region, and some can even be seen on foot. The host is very friendly and welcoming, and I felt extremely at home.

Our arrival at B&B Idala was marred from the start; despite booking four months ahead and being told check‑in would be between 2 PM and 3 PM, showing up a little later was met with obvious irritation and a hostile attitude from the host instead of any flexibility. At the desk we were handed a long list of rules – no shoes inside (even though our room was on the first floor) and no rolling luggage on the floor – and the cold reception made the whole atmosphere feel tense and unwelcoming, so we left to look for somewhere else.
A quiet, calm little spot, though the bed felt a bit too firm.
