Hampton Inn & Suites Rochester Downtown

“Cleaner than any other hotel I've stayed at, with friendly staff and a perfect overnight stay.”

Compared to other hotels I've stayed at, this one was the cleanest by a long shot; the room, bathroom, and common areas were immaculate, and the staff were welcoming and friendly.

We enjoyed a fantastic stay, thanks to the outstanding service from the team. Leyron at the front desk greeted us warmly and was very helpful from the moment we arrived. Jilliana at the restaurant was kind and attentive, making sure we felt cared for during our meal. A special shout‑out to Vince, who fixed our TV and, more importantly, made us laugh and smile after a long, exhausting day—especially after we’d had a flat tire in Buffalo earlier. His kindness and humor turned a stressful day into a much better one. Thank you, Leyron, Jilliana, and Vince, for making our stay memorable and enjoyable.

“Nice and Convenient- Wonderful Staff!!”

The staff were wonderful, helpful, and informative—just great! The hotel was very clean, and we chose it because of its proximity to Play and Science centers. Parking was convenient. I have grandkids, and it was hard to bathe them when the tub stopper wasn’t working. I need a handicap handrail on the outside wall of the shower for older visitors; the inside rail isn’t useful, and the tub floor was slippery, causing me to fall. Please fix the handrail or add a surface to the tub floor to prevent slipping when exiting. Thanks!
