The place sits right next to Varkala South Beach, which is great. But the rooms fell short; the air‑conditioner is ancient and they refused to give us blankets, water, or any basic necessities. They claimed a sea view when we booked, yet none exists, and they tried to push us to cancel the reservation when we voiced our concerns at check‑in.

The price was great for the spot, the room was tidy and nice, and the staff were very friendly. We arrived early, before check‑in, and they let us freshen up without any hassle. On the downside, there was no bottled water or TV, but given the rate it’s acceptable, though it would be nicer if those were included.
