The cabins were great, the staff very friendly, and the simple dinner was excellent—highly recommended. It’s close to Calakmul and you can visit without supporting the illegal hotel in the Ecopark. Unfortunately it was loud at night because of the nearby highway and the rumbling trucks.

The staff are adorable and helpful. The cabins are beautiful, tastefully furnished, and very clean. The location is ideal for visiting Calakmul and it’s a community hotel in the village. The price is a bit high for the service, and the generator didn’t work when the electricity cut for over 12 hours. The power outages aren’t the hotel’s fault, but candles or a solution when it happens would be welcome.

The staff was very attentive and helpful, but there was no air conditioning, and even with the fans, sleeping in mid‑August was very difficult; I wouldn’t return.
