The staff were very pleasant and helpful, and the room had everything I needed. I didn’t eat at the restaurant because I had friends to meet. 1966 was my first visit to Newquay for seasonal work with Forever Young. K. All good.

The location is good, with a nice walk into town for the main amenities. In the afternoon the receptionist had to check in guests while also serving at the bar, so when many people were waiting it was a bit frustrating, though she did her best to keep things moving. I understand that hiring a bar person for afternoons might not be worth it.

The bed location was clean. Breakfast cost £14 per person, which felt a bit pricey.

We had a beautiful view of the Atlantic Ocean, and Tesco Express is right next door – great location. Too few parking spaces, and they’re not free, costing £8.
