Outsite Sagres - Work, Connect, Explore

“Es hat meinen Raum zu Workation geöffnet. ich komme wieder.”

The location is great, close to the beach and the city centre, with rooftop morning workouts at sunrise and a good atmosphere for working. A true workation par excellence. The only drawback was the loudness; when people in the neighboring room spoke at normal volume, every word could be heard, even conversations in the hallway, which wasn’t ideal for late‑night work.

“Bien para unos días rápidos.”

I was in a room that shared the kitchen and living area, and the morning noise from people cooking, talking, and the coffee grinder kept me up; I couldn’t sleep late because of it. When two people showered, the water didn’t stay hot, and the taps were clogged with limescale, so water splashed everywhere except the sink.

“Určitě toto ubytování doporučujeme a pokud znovu navštívíme Sagres, budeme o něm silně uvažovat.”

The accommodation was very nice and in a good area. The shop and restaurant were within a 10‑minute walk, and the beach was about 15–20 minutes away. The place mainly serves as a coworking environment for digital nomads, and everyone we met was very friendly. The accommodation includes a fully equipped kitchen; the only thing that could use an upgrade is the pans. We also have to praise the local community manager, who helped us resolve issues that arose upon arrival. In the room we stayed in, there was a strong sewage smell in the bathroom. This stopped after a few hours when all drains were flooded, but the odor always returned; however, that’s something you can live with, and the other positives outweighed this fact.
