The owner was very friendly and empathetic, and the breakfast was generous. The location inside old Bari is great for exploring the many sights of the city. Getting into the room was a bit tricky because of a very steep and narrow staircase, but that’s just how old Bari is.

The spot is spot‑on, and Michele is an absolutely wonderful host – he was communicative, punctual and even drove me to the airport early in the morning when I wouldn’t have caught a taxi. Since it’s a BnB, don’t book if you plan to stay long in the apartment – it’s too small and lacks a central seating area. It’s perfect for a night or two between full‑day explorations of Bari. The terrace isn’t as cozy as in the photos; a few new pieces of furniture and a couple of plants would make a big difference.

A centrally located B&B right in the heart of old Bari. The breakfast is tidy and normally starts at 8 am, but can be requested earlier. The operator is friendly.

This beautiful accommodation sits in a central spot in the old town and is lovely and private, with only two guest rooms. The tiny roof terrace is gorgeous for relaxing. The room was clean, tidy and had everything we needed. Everything about our stay was wonderful. The only thing that might be an issue for someone with walking difficulties is the steep stairs inside the property – it wasn’t a problem for us.

“B&B Dei Cardinale is a great place to stay. So handy for everything”

The location was fantastic, right inside the old town and within walking distance of everything. Michele gave us great instructions on how to get to the property and even sent us videos – he couldn’t have been more helpful. We enjoyed a lovely little balcony overlooking the cobbled street below. The bruschetta at breakfast was the best we’ve ever tasted and the breakfast itself was amazing. The stairs up to the room were a little steep, so make sure you’re steady on your feet; otherwise, no complaints and we’d definitely stay again.
