Convenient, quiet location outside the centre. Spacious room and large bathroom, everything clean. Very friendly and helpful host. Breakfast on the terrace with cats. A cozy house with atmosphere. Thanks for a pleasant stay! Only few cabinets, no hangers to spread and hang your things.

We loved everything. The owners’ service is unbeatable; they’re very kind and hospitable, making you feel at home. Our room had a kitchen and a bathroom, was spotless, the beds were comfortable, and everything needed for a comfortable stay was there. Breakfast was delicious and served on a cozy terrace. It was in a very quiet neighbourhood about 15‑20 minutes walking from the city centre, perfect for seeing local life outside Berat’s tourist core. If you drive, parking is great because you can park at the house. The owner suggested a restaurant in the neighbourhood that turned out to be the best we tried on our country trip and very cheap. He was attentive to any need we had and gave us figs from his trees. It’s one of those places where you feel at home and you’re sad to leave. I absolutely liked everything.

We went to Berat as our first stop and stayed with Giovanni. Giovanni is a hospitable person who handles the accommodation with total “cleanliness”, breakfast, and welcome. The room is at a considerable walking distance from Berat, but doable. In a compound of several close lodgings with cats and dogs nearby. Overall, for the price it’s fine. Berat is wonderful, especially at night. It’s recommended. It’s a bit far on foot from the centre, but doable. The night the little dogs.
The landlord is very friendly and guest‑oriented. He even prepared a delicious multi‑course dinner for the guests in the evening! All in all, recommended. The centre is within a max. 15‑minute walk; from there it’s easy to reach the magnificent castle.
