Het eten was zeer goed. het personeel in het restaurant was heel wisselend, sommige waren super attent maar ook meerdere zeer gedemotiveerd; dat was jammer, want verder was het super!

“Really lovely Lodge in the heart of the Game Park”

Love Kwa Maritane and it is really good to see the lodge in such good shape. The half board fare is excellent, spoiled for choice, you won’t go unsatisfied. The game drives are included and highly entertaining. The staff are a delight every single one of them. The game park is in a slightly dilapidated state. Roads not good at all and game numbers seem low to me. This is no fault of the lodge of course. I would have liked to go on my usual game walk but unfortunately there were no other takers

“Me and My Family Had a Bad Bad Experience!.”

A bit of facilities. Extremely Disappointing Experience – Absolutely Not Worth the Money This is genuinely the first time I have ever felt the need to leave such a negative review for a hotel. Unfortunately, our experience at Kwa Maritane was disappointing from beginning to end. First of all, the food was terrible. What they served as “yogurt” was a watery, starch-like substance. The meat at dinner was so tough and chewy that it was almost impossible to eat. We ended up having nothing but green salad for dinner. Even the Margherita pizza we ordered for lunch tasted like a cheap frozen pizza, which was quite obvious from the dough. But what made the experience even worse was the attitude of the staff. Both the restaurant waiters and the reception staff were remarkably rude and unfriendly. There was very little sense of hospitality. At lunch, we were told that we could not charge the meal to our room. We were wearing our swimming shorts and planning to enjoy the pool, so we explained that we would go back to our room, collect our card and return to pay. Despite this, staff approached us five or six times demanding payment. We were hotel guests, sitting right there by the pool, not people trying to run away without paying! The whole situation was unnecessarily uncomfortable and frankly insulting. Even during checkout, the way the receptionist questioned us about our room key card was unnecessarily rude and confrontational. It was a fitting end to an unpleasant stay. As for the safari, I want to be fair: our guide was genuinely enthusiastic, friendly and did his best. Unfortunately, despite going on two game drives, we saw very little wildlife. After spending so many hours in the vehicle, the experience became exhausting rather than enjoyable. Of course, wildlife sightings can never be guaranteed, and I do not blame our guide for that. My advice is simple: do not spend this kind of money on Kwa Maritane
