The room looked freshly redone, which was great, and they offered free parking plus a deal with a solid BBQ joint, and the staff were very kind. The elevators, however, were out of service.

The spa was nice and the pillows were good, but the whole place was run down and clearly needed a major remodel.

The rooms and the hotel itself were clean, and the front desk was very helpful; the ice machines were broken but the staff would fill our bucket if we asked. After dark, the area felt unsafe—quiet by day, but at night there were people walking around on the dark street, one even rummaging through the hotel garbage bin. The pool water was also very cold.
