The bed was comfortable and the room clean, but the cleaning fluid’s strong, off‑putting smell lingered when we arrived, so I kept the door open to let it dissipate; even my suitcase carried that scent back home, which is unacceptable. I won't stay at any Motel 6 rooms because of their cleaning fluid smell.
