“Reasonably-priced hotel in a great area”

My husband, our two adult daughters, and I were staying in the Flatiron area to be near a wedding venue and couldn’t afford two rooms for four nights, so the Lex’s junior suite was the best and most affordable option. I compared it to The Giraffe, The Freehand, and Springhill Suites; the Lex offered two queen beds in a decent‑sized space for a lower rate than the others, and the location is great. The complimentary breakfast wasn’t memorable, so you might skip it and walk up to Tatte on Park. The room is dark, the lighting is poor, and there were not enough electrical outlets.

The room was comfortable, good size, and the bathroom was large, but the price was high.

“My 510 minute day was not nice at all. I think for that price the whole place should’ve been a whole”

I was let down by the way that the property was. I really felt for that amount. It should have been way better. I was really disappointed. A lot of things could have been better—the lighting, the crazy mess of the rugs, the refrigerator given to one of the people that rent out a room—lots of things could have been better.

The staff were great, and the room was clean and spacious.
