The place is fantastic; the road to get there is tough but worth it, great dinner and breakfast, the lady’s tagliatelle were the best I’ve ever had, and the dinner at the table with other guests was a blast. I highly recommend staying at Casina!

A wonderful spot with its own soul. If you’re after absolute luxury and convenience it might not be for you, but if you look past that and try to understand what the owners intended with their choices—free animals roaming, candlelit rooms, genuine cuisine, the shared dining area—you’ll find a unique place that stays in your heart. The road to reach it can be a bit rough and definitely not for sports cars or low vehicles; the sign warns you well, so just go slowly and those 3.5 km become part of the story waiting for you.

A truly calm spot that invites reflection and keeps some original quirks. Breakfast and dinner are excellent with genuine products. I remember the experience pleasantly despite the issues mentioned below. The road isn’t exactly convenient, but the staff explain it well beforehand, so I wouldn’t recommend it as a “base” for multi‑day car trips around the area. The candlelit rooms aren’t “mechanical,” but that’s also noted in advance. Our room was spacious on the mountain side, so it wasn’t very bright even during the day. Part of the package is a high bed that you have to “climb,” but it has a comfortable modern mattress.
