“Disappointing.”
I stayed in room 55/ which has garden access, but I avoided it because the lock wouldn’t work from inside, there was a mouldy odor, and a smoking area in front of the room was open to all guests.

The room was clean and welcoming, but a strong chemical smell made me feel light‑headed and has stuck to all my clothes.

I am extremely disappointed with my stay last night. It was honestly one of the worst accommodation experiences I have ever had. I genuinely do not understand how this place is advertised as a hotel. From the moment we arrived, there were serious problems. There was a very strong sewage smell in the room, which made it extremely difficult to sleep. Because of this, we had to leave the room very early in the morning. When we arrived, there was nobody available to help us, and our calls were not even answered. This was extremely strange and unprofessional. There was also no refrigerator anywhere in the building, so all of our food went bad. There was not even a microwave available. I am extremely unhappy with this experience and, most importantly, very disappointed with for allowing accommodation like this to be listed on the platform. I would like this complaint to be taken seriously and I expect an appropriate response and resolution. Nothing!!!!

I would say calling this a hotel is generous. When I got there, there was no proper sign with the hotel’s name and the entrance looked like a run‑down apartment door. A few minutes before arrival I got an email with an access code. Inside, a board had an envelope with my name on it. The “reception” was just a tiny room with a desk, a wooden chair and a computer. I was then led through a back door into a shabby courtyard where my room was outside. When I opened the door I couldn’t believe what I saw: the ceiling was absurdly low, the room was filthy, and the smoke detector seemed glued to the ceiling with chewing gum. The bathroom was disgusting; the shower ceiling was falling apart and paint and plaster were falling into the tray. The hygiene was so bad I wouldn’t let my dog sleep there. I complained and was offered another room. The person at reception handed me a new key card while apparently not even knowing where the room was. When I entered the second room the smell was absolutely unbearable – a powerful sewage‑like stench that made me feel physically sick. The air was impossible to breathe. At that point I had enough. I went back downstairs and had to argue to get my money back. I was initially told I would receive the refund within seven days after contacting Booking, but after insisting in person they processed the refund immediately. I simply left. This was not a good hotel experience; it was a complete nightmare from the moment I arrived. The building’s condition, the rooms, the hygiene and the unbearable smell were completely unacceptable. Do yourself a favour: do not book this place. There are plenty of legitimate hotels where you can spend your money without wondering what you have just walked into.

The hotel is great for a stop‑over stay; we only stayed one night.
