The location was excellent, the service fantastic, rooms clean and well equipped. The restaurant staff were great and the food very good. I was happy to have chosen to stay at a Lochside Hotel. The only issue was that room #2 had no chair; I’m a bit older and don’t like lying on the bed – a smaller bed with a nice chair would have been better. That’s all.

Nice rooms, not huge but adequate. Breakfast on request. The hotel has a restaurant – you should book a table. A bar is right next to it with a connecting door. There’s a wide selection of whiskies. There’s no guest lounge except a few seats at the reception.

The spot is a great bar for a whisky tour. I was with three friends and we booked The Lodge accommodation, which gave us our own space while staying close to the pub and hotel facilities.

The location is good. The price/quality ratio is very poor.

The restaurant offered a fantastic view of the loch.
