The place is a short walk from the station, and the staff were incredibly kind—helped me lug my heavy suitcase even though there's no elevator, and they carried it down at check‑out. The room was spotless, which made the night pleasant. No complaints, just that the building is old so adding an elevator would be tough.

“Das Hotel Krokodil betrete ich nicht wieder.”

The hotel sits nicely within walking distance of the Hauptbahnhof on a quiet street. The room was spacious enough, even with a sofa bed. But the bathroom was filthy—old, yet still should have been cleaner. The toilet was especially grimy, worse than at the station. Floors, tiles, taps were all dirty. Even with a "do not disturb" sign, the room was cleaned a day before I left, only the beds were made and fresh towels supplied. No new slippers, no kettle, no coffee or tea, yet I paid 132 €/night. Unacceptable.

Sehr nettes familiengeführtes Hotel in einer sehr zentralen und ruhigen Lage. Die Zimmer sind gemütlich in klassischem Stil eingerichtet. Das Frühstück ist solide. Es gibt ein gutes regionales Restaurant im Erdgeschoss
