The room was very comfortable, homey, and spotless, with all the essentials you could need; it’s a great spot to visit Waterton Lakes National Park and the Frank Slide Interpretive Center, and if you’re not a big eater, ask for half portions at breakfast.

Anne was a wonderful host, the property was quiet and tucked into a corner of town, and it’s close to many different places, but I’m used to mattresses that are 18 inches or thicker, so this one felt a bit thin.

The host was very nice, the breakfast was very extensive—almost overwhelming, the setting was quiet near the forest, and it felt more like a family home than a typical hotel.
