Breakfast was excellent; I dined there for dinner too and felt comfortable.

The hotel sits next to the motorway in a historic building, giving it old‑world charm, though the facilities were just adequate. There are no nearby amenities, and it’s 2 km from two towns, so the hotel feels isolated. The evening meal was great and breakfast superb, and the bed was comfortable. Nothing was unacceptable.

The French welcome was excellent, the motorcycle parking convenient, and the restaurant superb—this was our third visit and we still enjoyed it. The Italian breakfast was good, but rooms on the road can be a little noisy.
