Campanile Hendaye is situated on Hendaye's outskirts, 500 metres from the Spanish border. The hotel offers a restaurant serving traditional cuisine, buffet breakfast, 24-hour reception, garden, bicycle garage, and free private parking, with Biarritz Airport 25 km and San Sebastian Airport 10 km away.

The location was convenient, but the price was a bit high.

Apart from easy access from the highway and a parking that did its job, the rooms at the back of the hotel were not pleasant. I had requested a double bed and two rooms close together, yet the response from booking said the hotel agreed to my requests; in reality I got twin beds and rooms far apart. I also had to fight with reception to confirm that the three breakfasts were included in my payment, but only two were offered. In the end, I had to pay the three tourist taxes even though my booking was marked "all taxes included." On top of that, there was an unconnected TV that required a 75‑year‑old to crawl under the floor to find a plug, a remote missing a piece, and a sink that drained extremely slowly. Other than that, nothing else.

I didn't like anything. This was the first and last time I stayed at a Campanile.
