“DISSAPPOINTED WITH THIS PLACE”
The hotel felt like an unfinished construction site with an unpaved driveway and neglected gardens. We were confused about whether we were at the right location when we arrived; the entrance from the road was dimly lit and poorly illuminated. The driveway consisted of partially red soil, raising concerns about nail punctures on my tires. When we finally received the keys, we found that one room was infested with black ants around the bottom of the toilet bowl, and the seat was unclean and unwashed. The handheld bidet didn’t work. The air‑conditioners in all rooms didn’t reach a cool temperature even at full blast at 16 °C, so I slept in sweat; the nights became more bearable when it cooled, but it was still uncomfortable. The pillow was hard, the bed was stiff, and the common area resembled someone’s kitchen, with food in the fridge that looked expired. There were no proper signs from the road indicating the entrance, and it was dark, giving a sense of compromised security. The management seemed unprepared to receive guests and didn’t take enough initiative to ensure everything was in good, functional condition. A hair dryer should have been readily available upon request.
