“コルカタ空港のすぐ近くで「インドに来た」という様な宿を手軽に味わえる!”
I felt the hotel balanced the “Indian‑style taste” that Japanese travelers expect with a modest level of comfort and cleanliness, just enough to feel decent. It was my first time staying in a toilet without paper, but the bidet was fully equipped. The hygiene was clean enough—though the building is old, the cleaning is thorough, not filthy. The air‑conditioning was powerful and adjustable, and the fan was solid, so it was quite comfortable. The old building still has an elevator. The location is in a “faded Indian‑like alley” that’s neither great nor terrible. An ATM is right in front, and there are simple shops (open late) nearby, so drinks and snacks are easy to get. The airport is relatively close, which is convenient. I don’t have any major complaints, but it might not suit those who want the quick‑cleanliness of a business hotel. The hotel sits next to a typical Indian house, so there’s no view. Once, while walking down the street late at night, I almost got taken into a back alley by a gruff man who didn’t seem to speak. As long as you keep general precautions, there’s no real issue.
